Jessica L. Scutt is an Associate Attorney at Vandeveer Garzia. She focuses her practice in the area of Business and Commercial Litigation, in addition to other complex civil litigation matters, including negligence, employment law, construction litigation, municipal law, premises liability, and appellate practice. Jessica currently serves as Secretary of the State Bar of Michigan Indian Law Section.
Prior to joining Vandeveer Garzia, Jessica worked for a Tribal Nation, representing the Nations sovereign rights in all governmental interests and transactions. While in law school, Jessica received the Alternative Dispute Resolution Distinguished Executive Board Award twice, competed in the National Mediation Competition, was a Gold Metal Finalist in the Intra-School Client Counseling Competition, and was a member of the Negotiation, Moot Court, and Mock Trial competition teams.
