MICHAEL C. O'MALLEY joined Vandeveer Garzia, P.C. as an
associate in November 2011. Mike has
over ten years of experience in the litigation of construction contracts, premises
liability, dramshop, and both first and third party automobile cases. Mike has experience in both State and Federal
Courts, as well as appearances in the Michigan Court of Appeals and Michigan
Supreme Court.
Mike graduated from Michigan State University in December
1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction
Management. Prior to attending law school,
Mike worked for several construction companies; gaining on-site experience in
both commercial and residential construction projects. He began law school in January 1999 and
received his Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in January
2001. While in law school, he earned the
“Best Advocate” award for the school Moot Court Competition.
Mike was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in May
2001. He is also admitted to practice in
both the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan. Mike is a member of the Michigan Bar
Association, the Oakland County Bar Association and the Incorporated Society of
Irish American Lawyers.
