DEREK G. RUSSAW joined Vandeveer
Garzia, P.C. as an associate in October of 2010. He specializes in the areas of first and
third party auto negligence, personal injury, premises liability and general
negligence litigation.
Derek graduated with honors from
Michigan State University in 2003, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal
Justice. He received his Juris Doctorate
from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. While in law school, Derek was an active
member of the moot court board of advocates and the American Inns of
Court.
Derek became a member of the
State Bar of Michigan in 2007. Prior to
joining the firm, Derek practiced law in the State of Michigan’s Attorney
General Office. His professional
organizations include the State of Michigan and the Wolverine Bar
Association.
