CHRISTIAN E. HILDEBRANDT has
spent most of his career working for real estate agents and other
non-medical professionals alleged to have committed malpractice in
their professions.
Mr. Hildebrandt has also spent part of the past ten years of his practice in Worker's Disability Compensation bureaus
across the State of Michigan. Although he also carries a large
liability and litigation docket, an increasingly significant amount of
his work is performed in the bureaus. Mr. Hildebrandt is familiar with
the statutes and the rules of each of the particular bureaus in the
state. His experience lies in pretrial, trial and appellate commission
work in this area.
Mr. Hildebrandt is a shareholder with Vandeveer
Garzia and has been with the firm since 1992. He graduated from the
University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with an undergraduate degree in 1985
(A.B., Economics) and received his law degree, with honors, from Wayne
State University Law School in 1992. He was admitted to the Michigan
bar in 1992, and followed that with various bar admissions in the state
and Federal courts. In 1993, he was admitted to practice before the
U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Michigan, and was further
admitted to the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati, Ohio in
1994. Other admissions include the U.S. District Court, Western
District of Michigan (1996) and the Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Court
(1999).
Mr. Hildebrandt represents some of the largest
real estate brokers and self-insured employers in the Metropolitan
Detroit area. He represents both municipalities and private companies
alike. He also works on behalf of insureds and employers through
policies held by CNA, Meadowbrook, Kemper Insurance, AIG, and Fidelity and Guaranty among others.
